The Agència de Residus de Catalunya (ARC) held the V Conference on Soil Contamination on 18 and 19 February 2026, bringing together technical experts, industry representatives, consultancies, universities, research centres and public authorities to discuss the latest developments in contaminated soil management.

During the event, members from Eurecat shared key advances in sustainable soil remediation and promoted the InBioSoil project, highlighting its role in developing bio-based and environmentally friendly solutions to address soil contamination challenges.

As part of the programme, structured around thematic sessions covering regulatory, scientific and technical updates, Eurecat experts also delivered several presentations around soil decontamination from forever lasting chemicals.

The conference was aimed at professionals working in contaminated soil management, potentially polluting industrial sectors, consulting firms, academia, research centres and public bodies.
