InBioSoil participates in the ALL4BIOREM Cluster Workshop at BioRemid 2026

The InBioSoil project took part in the ALL4BIOREM Cluster Workshop, held on 24 June as part of BioRemid 2026, the 4th International Meeting on New Strategies in Bioremediation and Restoration Processes. The congress took place in Florence, Italy, from 23 to 26 June 2026, with activities hosted at Cinema Teatro La Compagnia and Auditorium Sant’Apollonia, both located in the city’s historic centre.

InBioSoil participated in the afternoon session, Addressing barriers: Bioremediation from lab to field, which focused on the challenges involved in moving bioremediation technologies from laboratory and pilot-scale research towards real-scale implementation.

During the session, Carme Bosch, Head of Soil and Groundwater Research Line at Eurecat, and Gabriel Grases Contaminated Soils Business Unit Manager at Tecnoambiente, presented the work of MySOIL and InBioSoil projects for advancing the bioremediation of soils contaminated with total petroleum hydrocarbons.

Beyond the presentation, InBioSoil also took part in the ALL4BIOREM Cluster booth. From the stand, the project team raised awareness of InBioSoil, presented its objectives and exchanged views with attendees, stakeholders and sister projects, including MIBIREM, pHYBi, BIOREM, EDAPHOS, ISLANDR, NYMPHE, SYMBIOREM, BIOSYSMO and IASIS.

The workshop provided a valuable setting to strengthen links with other European initiatives working on bioremediation and environmental restoration. It also offered an opportunity to share experiences, identify common barriers to technology scale-up and explore future collaborations aimed at bringing innovative remediation solutions closer to real-world application.
